Located in the Allan Gardens in Toronto, Ontario, the Robert Burns statue in the 1960’s was a popular location for poets to meet and recite their poems. Not far from the statue, in July 1962, Milton “The People’s Poet” Acorn “shouted love” and was subsequently arrested.
