Poet, Theodocia Pearce was born December 8, 1894, in Brantford, Ontario.
A childhood bout with spinal meningitis made Pearce “partially blind and lame.” Complete deafness would happen later. She died March 12, 1926, in Brantford, where she now rests in Greenwood Cemetery.
