Poet, Samuel James Watson was born around 1842 or 1843 in Northern Ireland. He died October 30, 1881, in Toronto, Ontario, where he also rests in an unmarked grave in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
According to cemetery records Samuel James Watson shares a grave with a William Herron, who died almost four months before he did.
